Overview
Decommissioning jobs come in two shapes: pull the carrier's equipment off a structure that's staying up, or take the whole tower down. We do both, and we plan the sequence before the first bolt comes off — what comes down in what order, how the crane or gin pole handles each section, and where material stages once it's on the ground.
This isn't erection in reverse done carelessly. A structure under disassembly loses stiffness and load path as sections come off, so the removal sequence gets engineered thought the same way an erection plan does, not treated as a formality.
What's Included
- Carrier equipment removal — antennas, RRUs, cabling, mounts — from a structure that remains in service
- Full tower dismantling: monopole, self-support lattice and guyed structures
- Section-by-section removal sequencing with crane or gin pole/capstan, depending on access and tower type
- Foundation and anchor removal or capping per owner/landlord requirement
- Site restoration — grading, seeding or surface restoration per lease termination terms
- Scrap and material handling, sorted and hauled off site
- Coordination with the carrier's disconnect/abandonment process before any physical removal begins
